Mi Vida

This mini-series is a collection of images that I shot when I visited my family back home in Holguin, Cuba. When looking at how this country is advertised to tourists it is seen as a glamourous tropical paradise but in reality, it is quite the opposite. Cuba is a country in which they care more about the lives of tourists rather than their own citizens. This series was shot in 2018 so a lot has changed since then, especially after the pandemic. I wanted to show the reality of not only how my own family lives but how many other Cubans live as well.
